Parents receive a warm welcome at Fairways. We value your input into nursery life and work hard to foster positive relationships to ensure continuity of care.
At Fairways we recognise each child is an individual and that treating children as equals does not necessarily mean treating them the same.
Fairways is a bright and well resourced nursery offering quality childcare for children aged 2 - 5 years. We are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, 50 weeks of the year.
The nursery is situated in the picturesque village of Stisted approximately 2 miles from Braintree and under 5 from Halstead.
With our rural location, there is a natural emphasis on outdoor activities whether it is playing in the well-equipped garden, planting or gardening in the wildlife garden or enjoying one of the many local woodland walks watching the seasons change.
Within our broad well-balanced indoor curriculum, we recognise the important role “just playing” has in the early years. We encourage children to experiment, explore their environment for themselves allowing time and providing opportunity for children to practice new skills and perfect the old.
We are forging good links with the local Primary school, Stisted. C. of E., to support children through the transition from nursery to school.
